For a significant chunk of my career, part of my job was anticipating the unconscious bias of the judge and trying to debunk it without the judge feeling like we're calling him racist.

This is a competency issue. It is only political to the extent that some people want to politicize it. There are many legal practice areas where knowledge of Indigenous history, culture, and/or laws respecting Indignity or made/based on Indigenous custom and law.

I mean, good, but I am bemused that *this* is the reason for shutting it down. You can build a concentration camp with inhumane living conditions as long as it is environmentally friendly?

I'm sure this will work out great for them when they fail to prevent jets from leaving vapour trails, and their base thinks they've been sold out.

Some smart person might figure out how to prevent vapour trails just for optics' sake, except they've also gutted scientific research.
