The UK carries on defending Israel by “contin[uing] to consider” the International Court of Justice’s conclusion that Israel’s occupation and settlements are illegal and must be ended and dismantled.

That ruling was 19 months ago in July 2024.

We encourage the Senate to quickly pass this legislation. We appreciate the efforts of many Republican and Democratic members who worked to include key pro-Israel provisions in the bill. In particular, we thank the leadership of House Appropriations Chairman @TomColeOK04 and Ranking Member @rosadelauro , and National Security and Department of State Subcommittee Chairman @MarioDB and Ranking Member @RepLoisFrankel .
