New paper on news avoidance around climate change, based on data from 8 countries.

We aim to add a bit of nuance to what we already know about news avoidance in general, particularly on the association between avoidance and specific emotional responses to climate news.

Highly timely study by some of my @ddc-sdu.bsky.social colleagues:
European publics (in this case 🇩🇰) are very concerned about big tech- but also don't see this as a problem to be solved by individuals!
Let me translate this into policy: solutions need to happen on the macro (🇪🇺) & meso levels!

Journalismus ist oft prekär, besonders am Beginn. @vitlif.de hat die Praktikumsgehälter von über 400 Medienhäusern in einer wertvollen Datenbank gesammelt. Mehr als 180 zahlen gar nichts, das ist wirklich ein Problem.
