I remember in mid-2018 sitting down with Zephyr Teachout, then running for New York attorney general, to talk through her call to prosecute ICE officials who broke the law. This was then considered an extreme, fringe position. Maybe if there had been accountability then, we wouldn’t be here now
"Prosecute ICE" should be a basic position for Democrats at this point.

I haven’t read it yet so I don’t want to misspeak but in my heart of hearts I feel and suspect this is the book everyone should be reading instead of Haidt’s “The Anxious Generation”
