In fairness, accusing the current pope of being the antichrist is one of Peter Thiel’s most traditionalist and conservative behaviors
In leaked audio recordings, Peter Thiel reveals he told JD Vance to ignore Pope Leo XIV on moral issues, including the development of ethical AI. He also suggested the American pope was a tool of the Antichrist.
NEW: JD Vance’s Top Donor Suggests Pope Leo XIV is Antichrist
In a leaked lecture, Peter Thiel says he’s urged Vance to ignore the pope on moral questions — and simply pray for him.

Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.

There's a lot that annoys me about the era of streaming and 600 subscription networks, but also it's 11:51 in the morning and a live Merrimack vs. Boston College women's basketball game is available for me to watch from a couple of states away. That's neat.

That's before we even factor in things like flooding exposure. The lag between flooding events & receipt of insurance payouts is long, while mold growth begins within 24-48 hours of the flooding event. So people may not be able to remedy the mold problem until well after they've been exposed.

It's a real inequity because

-renters have less control over routine maintenance while landlords are incentivized to avoid the costs
-housing cost burdened homeowners are less able to afford routine HVAC maintenance

... thus these pops may be ⬆️ likely to be exposed to mold growth in their homes.

I'm procrastinating so naturally I'm doing a deep dive on the history of The Map Center.
I had been saying it was established in 1953 but I found a source that says 1950 which would make it the oldest map store in the USA. Which is cool. Looking forward to verifying and marketing the crap out of it.
