I think Galaxy Quest, Iron Man 2, Moon, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and all other Sam Rockwell movies are all part of the same universe. Each role actually represents a step in the evolution of the character that is Sam Rockwell, ultimately crystallizing into Zaphod Beeblebrox.
