In more positive news, she is still obsessively knitting socks and has finally reached the top of the over a year waiting list for a dementia post diagnosis support worker.

I keep seeing people doing “needlepoint” on Aida with wool and selling kits and it’s just wrong. Needlepoint is canvas plus wool or thread. Or people teaching embroidery techniques who aren’t doing a technique right in any universe.

I’ve tried and two handed doesn’t work for me. Figuring out dominance was a game changer for my colour work knitting!
