The Hepatitis B vaccine was expected to prevent 9.5 million infections, 2.4 million chronic cases, and save 600,000 lives in the US by 2050.

The rainbow Christmas trees sold out!! They'll be back next year 😊 There are a few trans Christmas tree pins left in stock still though if anyone wants one sooner 🏳️‍⚧️🎄
And finally, today, one year after launching my first LGBTree pride pin to help fund transition, I'm launching another tree!

This time the trees are decorated for Christmas as part of my winter pin drop!

Interesting thing to take away here.

BBC asked 5000 doctors to take part in a survey about overdiagnosis of mental health conditions. Only 15% of them responded.

And what do you think the belief will be of that 15% who specifically wanted to respond to a study into overdiagnosis? 🤔

In spite of having my flu jab a few weeks ago, I’m now floored with what seems like flu. It’s very much not fun even with the flu jab.

Also recognised in Paisley at the Thread Mill museum due to her links with Coats prior to going to Budapest
Jane Haining became matron of the Jewish Mission Girls Home in Budapest. In 1939 she returned, against advice, saying that if the children needed her in days of sunshine they wd need her in dark times too. She was sent to Auschwitz in 1944 where she was murdered.

Trip to Edinburgh this weekend with my mum and sister - mostly fun but with the added sadness that dementia brings along. Can see my mum drifting away each time I see her and it’s hard.

This is a really interesting article about a horrifying distortion of sign language happening in the UK, and which its creators are now trying to export to other countries and their sign languages

Learn actual sign languages from Deaf people, not from hearing people making their own weird versions!

These threats are grim, disgusting and unacceptable.

They’re really common among anti-trans obsessives.

Which is why they were banned so often from social networks. It wasn’t censorship, it was standards.

Removing those rules has only emboldened hate:

For local knitters/crafters, John Lewis is moving their haberdashery to a smaller corner of the back of the second floor but while they do that, you can’t buy things when the shop is open!

When big shops ask why they aren’t making sales, I would point to the local department store who are moving their haberdashery within store and have the entire section closed to sales during shop hours!
