SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.

Art directors, Art enjoyers, Art buyers and Artists talk with each other. Nobody wants AI slop, specially when there is real art out there as an alternative. You can totally get blacklisted, not only on the industry, but inside fandoms for defending AI precarization and theft.

This honestly sickens me. The writing is probably on the wall by now, but needing to reassure people that our games are 'AI-free' is depressing as fuck.
For the foreseeable future, I can only hope the quality of our games speaks for itself so we don’t have to turn that into a marketing pitch.
