Sonder: the feeling that everyone has a life as complex as one’s own, which they are living despite one’s personal lack of awareness of it.
I feel like one of the big problems today is the lack of this realization. Other people are not NPCs. We’d be a kinder society if more people realized this.

Today we saw hospitals in Democratic states with trans sanctuary laws announce that they would pre-comply with Donald Trump’s demand to stop providing gender affirming care to those under 19.
This is disgraceful. Pre-compliance with fascism is compliance. It is collaboration.

A reminder that no one is free until we all are. That means all people cannot be free until immigrants are free, LGBTQ+ are free, disabled people are free, racial minorities are free, the environment is free, the poor are free. Ally is a verb; find 2-3 causes and do the work.

We’re close to losing Sesame Street, a show that was started to provide free educational media to marginalized kids in our country.
