Measles outbreak (61 people) over in northern Nova Scotia, no active cases in province #NovaScotia

I attribute this low case count due to the aggressive vaccine program, to have older people vaccinated as well as children who had not previously been vaccinated.

🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.

This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..

There’s something I’d like to write if I can find time. It has been prompted by a thought: our culture is being consciously steered towards intolerance. Our great-grandchildren will look back on what’s being done now and say that we lived in different times and didn’t know better. But we do. We do.

So, right now, the only reliable way to diagnose endometriosis is with exploratory surgery. But finally, real scientists (instead of male scientists), are on the job & of course they’ve identified multiple markers in menstrual blood that point to noninvasive testing.

The maddening thing is that we know EXACTLY how to prevent this. Yes, kids should get vaccinated, test, stay home when sick, mask as much as possible.

But even without any of that: Better ventilation and filtration in schools can MASSIVELY reduce viral spread, for all sorts of respiratory diseases.

It fills me with rage that we could've spent the last 5yrs overhauling indoor ventilation and just...didn't. Like, it's good for capitalism! Even if that's allll you care about, healthy people are more productive workers! And people don't have to take as much time off work if their kids are healthy!

Despite the FDA restricting COVID vaccine access, the science tells us that getting vaccinated is still important for everyone:

1️⃣ Anyone can develop serious and chronic illness from COVID
2️⃣ Vaccines reduce days lost due to sickness
3️⃣ Vaccines reduce transmission and protect others at higher risk

These restrictions will unfortunately decrease COVID vaccination rates because although many are high risk according to the CDC's list:

- you may need documentation of high risk status
- not everyone has a doctor
- doctors may be hesitant to provide documentation

- insurance may not cover

It's official: Updated COVID vaccines have been approved by the FDA, but with restrictions.

Moderna: 6 months and up if high risk

Pfizer: 5 years and up if high risk

Novavax: 12 years and up if high risk

Anyone 65 years and up is eligible for updated COVID vaccines regardless of risk status.
