I hope I can live long enough to at least see Socialism take hold. I want that critical mass to happen soon man. I need to do more personally to help facilitate that but it feels so bleak. The Earth and its inhabitants are a statistical miracle and we only squander it. WE COULD DO BETTER-SHIRE

I've become convinced that, when these people say the economy is doing well, they're referring to the system which extracts wealth from the lower classes and delivers it to the rich as "the economy", and they just don't know how to analyze the economy's impact on most people any other way.
