I've been wondering if and when musicians would step into the fray as they have in past turbulent times. Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young are seniors, and Joe Strummer is long dead. So meet Jesse Welles, performing on Stephen Colbert's show. #TheLateShow #StephenColbert youtu.be/61I4hlig78w?...

The year is 2035. The Meta People's Liberation Army breaks into my underground printing press. But I've already escaped on my pedal-powered flying machine. "Death to the machines!" I yell before crashing into the city's last remaining tree.

Investigating a Possible Scammer in Journalism’s AI Era | The Local
A suspicious pitch from a freelancer led editor Nicholas Hune-Brown to dig into their past work. By the end, four publications, including The Guardian and Dwell, had removed articles from their sites.

A silver lining: despite the westbound Line 5 Eglinton track being blocked at Golden Mile Station, light rail trains kept running. The line’s various crossover tracks meant that trains could “detour” around the problem area. Good to see.

People are wondering what has happened to Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Nothing.

She has always been an opportunist with no moral convictions. She now wants a higher office and saw the writing on the wall Tuesday evening.

Good morning sports fans

Just participated in an impromptu therapy session with baristas at the cafe. The consensus: this Blue Jays team rallied the city and country, brought a lot of joy and those missed opportunities will haunt us for a while

And that there’s always next year
