Seeing THE BLOB '88 on the big screen tonight, so that's pretty cool.

The Blob is a 1988 American science fiction horror film directed by Chuck Russell, who co-wrote it with Frank Darabont. It is a remake of the 1958 film of the same name. The film stars Kevin Dillon, Shawnee Smith, Donovan Leitch, Jeffrey DeMunn, Paul McCrane, Art LaFleur, Robert Axelrod, Joe Seneca, Del Close and Candy Clark. The plot follows an acidic, amoeba-like organism that crashes down to Earth in a military satellite, devouring and dissolving anything in its path as it grows.

Was there ever an update on the HELLRAISER series developed by Clive Barker, Mark Verheiden, Michael Dougherty, and David Gordon Green? It was announced in 2020...

I assume DGG's poorly received THE EXORCIST: BELIEVER killed it off — I'd rather have a sequel to Bruckner's 2022 reboot anyway...

HELLRAISER (2022) is a supernatural horror film directed by David Bruckner, with a screenplay by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, from a screen story co-written with David S. Goyer. It is another chapter in the Hellraiser franchise, based on the 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker. The film stars Odessa A'zion as a young woman recovering from addiction who ends up with a mechanical puzzle box that can summon the Cenobites, a group of sadomasochistic humanoid beings who thrive on pain as pleasure. Jamie Clayton, Adam Faison, Drew Starkey, Brandon Flynn, Aoife Hinds, Jason Liles, Yinka Olorunnife, Selina Lo, Zachary Hing, Kit Clarke, Goran Višnjić, and Hiam Abbass appear in supporting roles.
