When I was a kid, my grandmother would cut the daily Calvin and Hobbes comic strip out of the newspaper and glue them into a homemade comic book for me. Eventually I would save and save to buy the actual books one at a time, but that first homemade one was pretty special to me.
The final Calvin and Hobbes, which appeared in papers 30 years ago today.
