Thinking about Resolution (2012), a charming and DIY two-hander cosmic horror film that does so much with so little, anchored by two wonderfully real performances. Hang-out energy but incredibly eerie.

It's ... a lot.
This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

Camouflaj also suffered heavy layoffs by Meta. In-development game projects canceled. Studio remains open but studio heads let go with only a handful of employees left working on "the new user experience for upcoming hardware."

Sanzaru was working on a Batman Arkham Shadow sequel as well

And no one wants to hear you bitch about this not being why you voted for him. You did. Now either commit to being against fascism, or live with the taste of the shit sandwich you've bitten into.

The hits just keep coming. I worked at Camouflaj a lifetime ago with some hella talented folks in a tiny office with no A/C in a particularly hot Seattle summer. To see it torn down and only have the name remain makes for some real mixed emotions.
former meta employees tell me that a fourth studio, camouflaj, was also hit hard by recent layoffs. unlike the other three, it remains open, but in-development game projects have been canceled, and studio heads have been let go. ex-employees characterized it as being "effectively" shut down

It's kind of surreal how Trump swearing at and giving the middle finger to a heckler isn't a bigger deal because of how much other awful stuff has happened in the last few days: www.bbc.com/news/article...

Thousands of people have sent donations totalling nearly $700,000 (£521,000) to the heckler, who was suspended from his job at Ford.

A quick shout-out for the recently-retitled SeverLink (formerly Project Kvasir), a very promising looking PS2/PSP-styled stealth game in the works.

It really does look like a game from that era running through emulation. 'Looks like a PS2 game' [Positive] energy in a big way.

What can I say but Fuck Meta. They’re killing so many amazing studios to do what? Focus on making the world an even worse place? Garbage company.
I'm hearing some really disheartening news that Camouflaj, the studio behind Batman: Arkham Shadow, may have been completely laid off, including Ryan Payton and Matt Walker, despite reports saying otherwise.
Heartbreaking news if true. This team poured everything into that game.
