Because this is an IMPORTANT MORAL DILEMMA THAT I AM FACING SO CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS. (No, it's not.)
A while ago I started writing a book, which I usually describe as "pornographic novel with nerd appeal". It was never meant to be actually good. Basically 50 SHADES, mixed with READY PLAYER ONE, by the way of NAKED CAME THE STRANGER. I wanted to see if I can sell a novel by spicing a morally...

Ooooh, 28 YEARS LATER is on German Netflix!

Dammit, I did not know that Arj Snoek also died a few weeks ago. This year I've been on a Ladomat 2000 re-discovery trip and of course he was one of the stars of that label. RIP

I would be way more excited for NORMAL if it wouldn't be directed by Ben Wheatley, a director whose hype around him I never understood and who made with FREE FIRE one of the most unwatchable action movies of the 21st century.

I didn't know that Josh Becker died a few weeks ago. Man, with him and Scott Spiegel we lost two underrated Raimi-collaborators this year.

One of the most random pieces of trivia from my childhood: Remember the Hanna-Barbera Flintstones-but-in-ancient-Rome cartoon THE ROMAN HOLIDAYS? When it premiered on German TV in the early 90s, for some reason the voice actors were the same as in the German dub of THE MUNSTERS TODAY.

It is pretty annoyng the same people who are (rightfully) against AI for being lazy and uncreative all use "AI slop" as their one and only collective term to describe it, instead of coming up with something by themself, even if it's something as simple as "crap".

So all the deliveries came today. One came in a box that was five times too big, the other was ripped open on one end, but at least the driver was nice and competent enough to check the van for missing parts and judging by the instructions, I got everything.

Aw, RIP Gil Gerard aka Buck Rogers.

I saw him at a convention something like 15 or so years ago. Seemed like a cool guy. Was dressed like a tourist on stage and came across very down to earth.

Another thing that I would do if I were stinking rich, would get the rights for DANGER THEATRE, give it a good HD remaster and make sure it gets a nice physical release and can be found on every streaming service imaginable.

A.I. is like the Y2K problem in reverse - they're just going around putting it in everything until nothing works.

The new bed is supposed to arrive between 2 and 5 pm. I love these modern days of delivery tracking. Kids these days have no idea how frustrating it was to not know when something arrived at your doorstep. With big deliveries you might have a gotten a date, but then had to wait all day.

I had a salad yesterday that had so much garlic and onions that I still have the taste in my mouth. It's horrible!

Hurry up! There is still time for you to order your copy of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s feature length directorial debut CHRISTMAS IN CONNECTICUT (1992) before Christmas.

Never forget that all it took for Xena to snap, at least for a bit, was being stuck in a timeloop and relive the same day over and over.

Oh nice, I just learned that there is an official DREW CAREY SHOW YouTube Channel and it has apparently all the episodes. Which is good, because the show is pretty obscure here in Germany and it's very unlikely it will ever pop up on streaming here.

Is there something wrong on my side or is the upload for the DISCLOSURE DAY trailer just really bad, with huge compression artifacts and pixelation even in high resolution?

My new bed should arrive tomorrow. I hope I can assemble it by Sunday and I can finally sleep again.
I wish I could tell you the old one was damaged by wild, erotic adventures, but it's just old.

Damn. We also lost Philo, guys.

(Better known to normal people as one half of Luke & Laura [Genie Francis], the couple that literally changed the '80s TV landscape with their escapades on daytime soap General Hospital.)

I admit that I have no real connection to Rob Reiner's work. I like SPINAL TAP a lot and might be the world's only NORTH appreciator. Still need to watch MISERY, but in general I never really clicked with any of his movies. But the murder of him and his wife is really getting to me like celebrity...

When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

I really dig this cover of THE CONEHEADS comic book, which was released sometime after the unsuccessful '90s film.
Art by MAD magazine's Tom Richmond and Jimmy Palmiotti.

The interior art by Richmond and Marie Severin, with writer Terry Collins on the script, was fun as well.
