I sort of intuitively slip into using "trans girls"/"trans women" to distinguish levels of transition experience. To me "Trans Women" are the ones who've had time to get a grip on things, while "Trans Girls" are the ones still posting "chat, am I faking it if I don't like musical theater?" on Reddit

First time post-transition where a TV show character has my deadname. 🙈
It was bound to happen. It didn't feel too bad. I didn't really have much of a connection to the name. And that was a bit of a strange feeling. 😅😅

Because the law is an expensive tool to use; because this means it is mostly rich people who get to use it; because rich people are usually men; the law has become a tool of the patriarchy, one which men use to impose their will on women.
In situations where the law tries to decide this for you, I hope there are people like @goodlawproject.bsky.social willing to stand up for your rights to not be property.
