I really think that 47 believes that Balance of Trade Deficits are in direct relationship with the National Debt.
So he believes reducing the trade deficit will DIRECTLY and immediately reduce the National Debt.

Pressure needs be kept on the house members. They all are up for election in 26, they need to be reminded their constituents are watching and, they can easily be removed.
Johnson will refuse to bring it to the House floor for a vote like he did last time. But maybe he'll piss off enough Republicans that they'll try to oust him.
