Hey @cnliberalism.org come get yer boy.
Gov. Polis tells CBS that Tina Peters' sentence is "harsh" and he's considering clemency for her. Peters, sentenced to 9 years on 4 felonies, has never disavowed her role as county clerk to breach her own election system to prove Trump's lie that he won 2020.

ICE is shooting observers dead in the streets when the administration should be DEAD set on lowering the cost of living.

Metriod wants us to believe that advanced extra-solar civilizations have all converged on technology that is operated by rolling a ball into a thing. Implausible!

There are a bunch of different universal healthcare models. Literally any of them would be preferable to the mess that is the US system.
For all Universal HC/Single Payer/M4A advocates.

What do the biggest, expensive hospital chains do. Do they opt out and only serve the rich ?

Who in the USA gov runs the program?

R U ok with having to see a primary care doc before you can see a specialist ?

SDUSA merch is absolutely dire. I know it's not much a going concern anymore, but surely there is *one* active member with a design background.

A really surprising counterexample to this is watches. You'd think it's all 500K Richard Milles' but watch guys are like, "yeah dude, that $25 Casio is rad as hell. Got two of them."
Like really if you are looking to get into speciality coffee or bikes or photography or whatever, the cheap mass market option is probably fine to dip your toe in. Hobbyists posters don’t know your needs and if you get really into something you’ll develop your own tastes and opinions.

This is right but concedes too much. Even if they were foreign terrorists correctly designated, that doesn't come with any legal authority to kill them!
Batya might be just fine with a dudetrustme basis for a terrorist designation, but Americans with a functioning moral compass actually expect a plausible public rationale for who is to be treated as a terrorist in our name.

This shit pisses me off an unreasonable amount. 22 USC 4603 establishes 'the United States Institute of Peace," not Donald J. Trump United States Institute of Peace. And they're gonna go "oh, it's just unofficial" and nobody will have standing to do anything about it. Fuck these people man.
SCOOP: Sources tell me Donald Trump's name was added to the exterior of the US Institute of Peace building ahead of Thursday's peace agreement signing between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), which will be held inside the building. Confirming if it's been officially renamed.

Government by boomer Facebook nostalgia post.
Trump's Transportation Secretary on how to improve air travel:

"People dress up like they're going to bed when they fly... We want to push people as we come into a really busy travel season, help people out, be in a good mood, dress up"

So this is just a way for him to do another round of stimmy checks without the counter-cyclical framing, right? Hoping for that bump when people see his name on it?
Welp. There it is:

“The only bill I’ll sign is one where insurance companies don’t get any money and instead money goes to the people who will use it to buy insurance from those same companies.”

Glad we cleared that up.
So the plan is to give the subsidy 💸 directly to Americans so we can individually go sign up for insurance.
Same system but just “make it harder for people to navigate”?

And it still won’t fix the problem of affordability or protect against junk plans that don’t cover anything.

Stanley either fled the country because he believed his employer might urge him "to see the fascists as just politically different," or he's just exploiting the very real dangers of this administration to juice his profile after a career change. In either case, total loser shit.
Jason Stanley isn’t afraid to use the F-word when talking about President Donald Trump.

The author of How Fascism Works and Erasing History: How Fascists Rewrite the Past to Control the Future is clear: He believes the US is currently under an authoritarian regime led by a fascist leader.
I study fascism. I’ve already fled America.
On this week’s “More To The Story,” former Yale philosophy professor Jason Stanley explains his recent move to Canada and calls the Trump administration’s takeover of the US government a “coup.”
