Democratic campaign professional and fan of pro-human cities. We’ll see if I ever use this at all. Views mine.
A mostly older, white crowd from Ohio, NY, and MA, with education levels ranging from high school only to law degrees, fwiw.

Surprised by all the Slotkin appearances above all.
Two new votes added!

Buttigieg (in entirely separate conversations)

And Crockett-Newsom has changed to Newsom-Slotkin (and this is from an Ohioan!)

DOJ briefly uploaded this letter from Jeff Epstein to serial child molester Larry Nassar:

"Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to 'grab snatch,' whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system."

True story: someone I know who drives in Manhattan as a necessity for her work and was initially very skeptical of Congestion Pricing, told me a few days ago she now wishes the toll were even HIGHER.

Without a doubt the best local policy enacted this decade.
Year 1 data on congestion pricing in Manhattan…

* Vehicle traffic: -11%
* Foot traffic: +3.4%
* Storefront vacancy: -0.9%
* Pollution: -22%
* Revenue for mass transit: $548M

So YES this has been a huge success.

this is one of the most psychotic things Trump has ever posted

To expand on this: I have never gotten to an airport more than two hours in advance (and seldom more than 90 minutes even for international travel), and I have never missed a flight in my life
People's degree of risk aversion when it comes to air travel itineraries is quite something. Found a thread online where people are advising *against* a 5 hour layover at JFK because OP has to collect bags and recheck at a different terminal. 5 hours! They're telling him to stay overnight instead!

My "LA's transit revolution is overblown and good urbanism just isn't in the city's DNA" hater take remains undefeated

(And more positively, WMATA's turnaround is nothing short of incredible and we should all learn from it)
Another month of US transit data is just in, & DC's WMATA remains the fastest-growing major US transit agency, with ridership up 10% compared to last year!

King County Metro (Seattle, +7%) & SEPTA (Philly, +5.3%) have performed well, while LA Metro & NJTransit have lost riders🧵

It begins. Clearly incriminating evidence against president of the United States.

Epstein to Maxwell, April 2, 2011:

"i want you to realize that that dog that hasn't barked is trump. [VICTIM] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned. police chief. etc."

once a week the president says into a microphone out loud "I simply love dictators, it's so great how they order people around, nobody disobeys them, it's wonderful"
Trump: "I want my cabinet to behave like [Xi Jinping's staff]. I'm demanding that....I've never seen men so scared in their lives...JD doesn't behave like that. JD butts into conversations."

The last month of the anti-Mamdani campaign was an absolutely shameful undertaking, an attempt to rip the city and Democratic coalition apart and I'm very happy to see it failed.

the NYT decides on its narratives and really, really has a hard time adjusting coverage to reality. it was the biggest pusher of 'resistance is dead', reflecting the general desire among the US establishment for Trump to be a punitive force against their critics. #nokings doesn't fit its story
Those with sharp eyes might detect a subtle difference in NYT play last month of an event in one city, w 100,000+ attendees, versus play this morning of some 2500+ events w many millions of attendees, in all 50 states.

See if you can spot it! /s

Then you can find today's story on p A23
