Lord knows I'm not a fan of any of this corporate media consolidation — Netflix and Paramount both should be barred from buying WBD.

But in terms of sending a message, would be stellar if everyone watched Good Night and Good Luck on Netflix together next Sunday when 60 Minutes is on the air.

Got tickets to see #AvatarFireAndAsh on Day 1 in 3D HFR! I’m all in on this shit and incredibly excited! I haven’t been this excited for a blockbuster movie since Revenge of the Sith.

Nintendo’s attitude towards #Metroid feels like Square Enix’s attitude towards their Eidos catalogue (Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, etc).

If it wasn’t made in Japan, it held no value, even when fans were waiting to spend their money.

My girlfriend shows me a picture of me while gaming and I looked so fat and gross that I gagged. She loves the picture though so love truly is blind.

As someone who can't afford a 1500-2000 gaming pc, GeForce Now is a game changer for me. It works incredibly well for me and now I can play so many new games that I (may) not need a console in a few years. The Oblivion Remake and 1440p ultrawide at high settings. Chefs kiss. #nvidia

My current conspiracy theory is that the ASUS Xbox handhelds are just beta testing the Xbox interface so that they will make the Series X and S just normal PCs. #xbox

This breaks my heart. He was one of my heroes when I was 14 and watched a ton of G4, where he was interviewed all the time. He exuded so much ’cool guy’ energy.
according to a notice on his Facebook page, Tomonobu Itagaki has passed away at the age of 58. No details were shared, but the statement expressed his misgivings about “failing to produce a new game for the fans”

I would love an opinion of a #GameDev. In the wake of the game pass changes, I’ve been wondering about #Steam too. Do developers and publishers recoup costs when the Steam culture is buy a billion games for $5 during seasonal sales? That also does not seem sustainable. Are pc players just richer?

I’m not convinced this #gamepass stuff is not all overblown nonsense. This happens every time Netflix increases their pricing. People get online and cancel their subscriptions and make a lot of noise. And then months later Netflix will announce sizable growth in subscriber numbers.

Under the latest DF Direct there is a comment akin to "Does Alex even like games or does he only like ray tracing?" While the phrasing is humorous and ignores my job mandate, it does remind me that if you only play AAA games and commit to that hype cycle, them you have a narrow view of gaming. (1/2)
