Per a source with knowledge, for all internal research (of which there is like $10 billion worth or so), ALL purchasing shut down as of yesterday.

That means gloves, reagents, anything involved with lab work, which means a lot of that work will stop.

On the subject of walking, now would be a very excellent time to make a commitment to, as much as you can, tending to your physical being. There's a good chance the ACA will be repealed and medical services reliant on federal government money (like ERs) will be out of cash. You want to be healthy.
We'll all be walking soon enough so you should be good.
