What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

PRO TIP: If you want the Nobel Peace Prize, you might not wanna kidnap fathers, zip-tie kids, shoot priests, rip moms from carpool lines, and terrorize entire otherwise peaceful cities.

if you want to understand tailoring, you only need to watch mid-century movies, when actors were dressed by tailors, not brands. in the 1944 film cover girl, gene kelly's suit drapes beautifully, moving with him, not against him. collar stays on his neck, even as he dances.

Resist. Refuse. Ridicule. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Fascism requires compliance and crumbles once it's withdrawn.
A State Department employee shared with PBS News an image from inside the department. The image includes a piece of paper taped to a mirror with the words, "Colleagues, if you remain: RESIST FASCISM. Remember the oath you vowed to uphold."
