10/8/1949: The first Skyline Chili opens. The restaurant was started by Nicholas Lambrinides, a former chef at Empress Chili, and his three sons. Located on Glenway Ave in Price Hill, Lambrinides named it for the parlor's spectacular view of the city. Today there are over 130 locations.
