I realise that Benoit Blanc was created for film, and he works perfectly in that context. But he reads so like a character adapted from a Golden Age detective novel that every film makes me feel sad there isn't a series of Benoit Blanc novels for us to read as well.

I like surrounding myself with people I’m comfortable with on Thanksgiving. When your presence brings calm and fills me with joy I am thankful. I’ll miss friends and departed family this year, but will have kids and dogs and games and laughter.
