To be fair, we already have to do that regularly around lots of historical pivot points. Bananas shit gets made up all the time, whether by LLMs or flesh and blood people with agendas. This is just another example of why it's vital to learn how to sift and evaluate evidence, research carefully, etc
I hope people realize how bonkers it is that we have to filter information pre and post-AI.

To be clear, this isn't a defense of AI bullshit. Just a note that it's same shit, different day, and that acquiring those skills is perpetually valuable. My prescription: study the Humanities (and other stuff).

I've been recommending this trilogy for the past year, and here I am doing so again. The queer (and furry!) thematic depth, subtext, and allegory in this story is remarkable. These books hit me less like a truck and more like a gamma ray burst.
