No jobs?

What are they gonna do when there's no more groundwater?
Bernie Sanders: "We need to be thinking seriously about a moratorium on data centers. You gotta slow this process down. It's not good enough for the oligarchs to tell us 'you adapt.' Are they gonna guarantee healthcare to all people? What are they gonna do when there are no jobs? Make housing free?"

This is exactly how I feel about Taskmaster.
Been watching Mythbusters all day (found out Roku has its own channel) and it really is just watching autism interact with ADHD.

As a person with both EOE and MCAS, I cannot tell you how demoralizing it is to have a diet so limited that the overwhelming majority of a grocery store is off-limits to me AND live in an excuse for a country that is systematically trying to ban everything processed and jacking up prices.

This will garner wider acceptance than the fact that liberal children (often AuDHD, queer and/or chronically ill) of conservative parents (sometimes sociopaths or narcissists or plain abusive) are estranging themselves.

I've always loved Jenny Holzer's work, but I've developed a new appreciation for it because of trauma therapy.

Some of her truisms are like the stuck points we carry as survivors, some are incisive social commentary. The truism is only found via discernment and deconstruction.

Very much looking forward to reading this!
So excited this Bloomsbury anthology now on preorder! It includes my essay "Theory of whose mind? A very late-diagnosed autistic writer claps back" excerpted from my memoir in progress. Never been so happy to be a member of a group before. Editors did brilliant job.

If you're just over everything and you haven't paid any attention to it, marveling at how rare 3I Atlas's entry into our solar system is is a nice distraction. It will be at closest approach to Earth on the 19th. NASA might be shitting the bed on this but other astronomers are keeping watch.

But let's definitely make college entrance contingent upon knowledge of AI.
Grading and googling hallucinated citations, as one does nowadays, and now that LLMs have been around for a while, I've discovered new horrors: hallucinated journals are now appearing in Google Scholar with dozens of citations bc so many people are citing these fake things

All of this. 💥
How about we stop fighting ablism with MORE ableism? It's not that hard! Your jokes about ASL interpreters not being able to interpret Trump ARE ableist. You are behaving no better than Trump in that regard. And I certainly wouldn't want you on my side.

Every one of these fuckers dissuading the public and parents from lifesaving vaccinations is probably vaccinated. It would be interesting for press to start asking about actual personal vaccination records.

It's "wasteful" to make a different font choice that meets the needs of the greatest number of constituents. That's what they think of disabled Americans.
