PBS drastically improved my literacy skills as a kid.

But more importantly, it taught me to be compassionate, to be kind, to be a good friend, and to be good to myself.

It taught me to try new things and to appreciate different cultures.

It emboldened my creativity and my curiosity.

I hate this.

1. Today, the Trump administration's HHS Dept., under RFK Jr., released a review of transgender healthcare.

It has no authors. It pushes pseudoscience and conversion therapy. It does not follow a scientific process.

When we call for politicians to "do something," this is what we mean. Not speeches or op-eds or campaign rallies, but using every tool available to disrupt the advance of fascism.
Monica Isham is the 1st woman & 1st minority to serve as a circuit court judge in Sawyer County.

In an email to all Wisconsin state judges she said: “If there is no support for us, l will refuse to hold court. If this costs me my job or gets me arrested, then at least I know I did the right thing.”

Things should be mostly fair. Or we should at least try to make things that way.

Where you’re born is arbitrary. It doesn’t make you more or less.

How you treat others is crucial. How you treat the less fortunate (and more vulnerable) is everything.

Smile a lot. Try your best. Be good.

Democratic leadership refused to listen to the left.

They held the steering wheel.

I will not sit down. EVER.

The way liberals talk to Black women they disagree with is always VERY telling.

Counting down the days until the white house conditions access on how trans people are referred to or how democrats are referred to.

This fight isn't really about the name of a coastal sea.
Trump is blacklisting a news outlet for using a name he doesn't like.

It's that simple.

So why aren't more reporters and media outlets speaking out more vehemently to help The AP? In part, I'm told, it's because the WH Correspondents' Association is trying to work out a solution behind the scenes.
