After managing to get a Switch 2 preorder from Walmart when it went they became available, woke up today with no Switch 2 and no real ETA. Guaranteed 9am came and went. More than 6 hours and no update. Tracking showed up and shows only the label was created... should have gone with BestBuy

Finally in the end game of Pokemon Scarlet, finishing up my catching a few pokemon I still need for my living dex, and I think I'm gonna miss it. The framerate issues make it impossible to recommend, but I loved everything else. Wonder if it will be stable on Switch 2... 🤞🏽

So apparently I need to have a Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl save to get Darkrai in Pokemon Arceus? Ugh why... If anyone knows a cheap place to rent it in NYC, please let me know. I'd rather not pay full price for that bad "remaster".

When I figured I would complete a living dex while playing at least one Pokemon game from each generation, I knew I would see the improvements over time but the jump from 3DS to Switch was simply amazing. I know there was criticism over Sword and Shield at the time, but I fell in love when I saw it

Currently playing Pokémon Ultra Sun for the first time. I cannot believe someone thought it would a good idea for the Rotom Dex to talk to you THIS much, which stops you from looking at the map. After every battle, every level up, every area change, it keeps telling me the exact same things.

Up to gen 6 in my goal to play one game from every generation of Pokemon (and get a living dex along the way). I feel like I've hit a slump with Pokemon Y. Story just ain't hitting. Exp share for the whole party is nice though.
