if you see a terf who is in the public eye using a 'single sex space' confront them and demand they prove they're not trans.

make examples of *them*.

This Government is currently sitting on an EHRC Code of Practice that will lead to the segregation and exclusion of trans people in public life.

Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we remember the transgender lives lost to violence.

The Green Party stands shoulder to shoulder with transgender people in the face of increasing transphobic rhetoric in our society and politics.

What Zack actually said was Putin giving up nuclear weapons was "extremely unlikely".

But he emphasised that we should always be working towards a nuke free world and often many things seem impossible until they are achieved.

But has anyone in this Labour government ever cared about the truth?
The leader of the greens thinks he can persuade Putin to give up weapons. The leader of reform thinks he can cut public spending without cutting services. Labour risks falling into same trap in its immigration and asylum policies. To actually change the world we need less bravado and more scrutiny.

People who tell me “You’re an extreme case, we’re not talking about you” when it comes to disability benefits…

I don’t care.

When you come for one disabled person, you come for us all.

I’m not as selfish as you to do the “Oh I’m alright then”.
I actually care about others.

I'm Jewish. I'm also Mancunian.

Every other national party leader was interviewed by Laura Kunesberg during their conference.

Maybe the BBC thought as someone who also supports Palestine - I had nothing to say?

Many Autistic people fall apart in social situations, but thrive on a stage in front of hundreds, talking about a subject they're passionate about.

Many of us hate small-talk, but are great at deep, meaningful conversations.

Many of us internalise powerful, deep emotions.

Disabled women are already more likely to experience abuse than non disabled women, cutting disability benefits will make this even worse and I refuse to believe that the government doesn’t know this.

Scandal upon scandal
Kind of amazing how nakedly dishonest are Wes Streeting's lot when it comes to suppressing data on young people taking their own lives in consequence of the withdrawal of gender affirming care. 🤯🧵

Excellent summary from @rmcunliffe.bsky.social.

It saddens me beyond belief that we’ve gone from ‘the safest bill in the world’ to, oh, not enough time to debate this.

This bill is so far from having adequate safeguards in place it terrifies me.

I wonder if any assisted dying advocates claiming disability rights activists have been co-opted by religious orgs has ever actually met a disabled person. When you’re told “Jesus will heal you!” in Tesco and patronised daily, the disabled community isn’t exactly a group I’d call easily manipulated.

I've wracked my brains & can only come up with one explanation that makes sense for the Labour direction.

They think their only hope is that it comes to an election & we see that it is them or Reform. And that for all our big talk about hating them, we'll still vote for them to keep out Reform.

"Return hubs" risk being found to be unlawful for starters, but they are also totally inhumane, and massively expensive. We could be investing in our own country, our own infrastructure, to ensure we support everyone better. Instead Labour wants to dump people and leave them in limbo elsewhere.
