Occasionally I’ll pull it up and look through it, and as I do I always think to myself “how the fuck did I actually pull this off” because to sum up its contents, I basically took 18 months of hitting my head against the wall working in a lab—

Like legitimately, I figured we were all gonna die anyway so I rolled out of bed at like 11am the morning of, threw some prayers up to Big J and slugged my Ritalin back with a double-shot espresso, joined that zoom call and by the grace of God alone somehow bullshitted my way to a Masters of Science

I only rehearsed the defense for my masters thesis like once the day before my presentation. It was June 2020 so AI wasn’t around yet & I figured society was gonna collapse anyway because Covid deaths were already clogging morgues, so I just fuckin winged it. My defense passed. AI could never 🐦‍🔥🤙

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.
