First quality public photo of China’s trimaran semi-sub.
Second image is my sketch based on satellite imagery while it was hidden under tarps(!). Of course some differences, but I was right it is a semi-sub(!). Overall pleased how much I got right

France’s life-extended nuke cruise missile (ASMPA-R) has become operational on the aircraft carrier-based Rafael with a test flight today. The missile is already in service with the Air Force.

France’s life-extended nuke cruise missile (ASMPA-R) has become operational on the aircraft carrier-based Rafael with a test flight today. The missile is already in service with the Air Force.

All nuclear explosions are supercritical. He probably means “hydronuclear” — slightly supercritical with insignificant fission release (<1 lb). The US conducted ~35 during the 1958-1961 test moratorium. As a Harvard-educated lawyer, he can understand this—if it’s to his benefit.

Suomen puolustusmenot ovat tämä vuonnanoin 6,5 Mrd €. Ne pitäisi nostaa 5%:iin bkt:sta eli 15 G€:oon. On esitetty rahoittamiseksi talouskasvua. Sen rahoittaminen käy parhaiten kun talous kasvaa. Silloin tosin tavoite karkaa. Jos talous kasvaa 10 %, sotilasmenojen onkin noustava 16,5 G€:oon
