in case you need a reminder. or a dragon.

Tale as old as time. Biggest disgust toward my heritage is how so many kids and grandkids of immigrants (who were treated terribly when they came here) fully embraced white supremacy, pulled up the ladder and threw rocks at everyone below.

With this, I can see most of the possibilities, which feel worse than a hurricane I have to say, and have some semblance plans for most, but there’s some that are just horrific and I’m stuck at those. I don’t dwell, but without having a satisfactory “if this, do that,” my mind is just so unsettled.

the crux of the issue for me is that I need to evaluate every potential outcome, have a plan for each, and then I’m fine. I do this with hurricanes, work stuff, health things. Just go through the possibilities, ask what’s the worst case and what do we do then, and I feel settled, can move on.

Yeah, Moondance is one of my favorite albums to put on. I still listen to him, like The Smiths which I also love (ugh Morrissey lol), but usually don’t share either online lest folks think I’m cool with those two guys.

I’ve tried tricking myself by putting my personal to-dos on my calendar with alerts but my asshole brain is always like meh, that can wait. but an alert for work engages the adrenaline switch or something & it’s done, and done really well. as for my list of phone calls and appointments? ever growing
