Radiohead makes music for people that don’t just want to listen to music but to also be *inside* the music. Won’t explain further.

I also really want to buy a new record player but the choices are overwhelming. I just know I don’t want anything Crosley branded.

I really want to buy a new pair of Bose headphones (my old pair is only corded and snapped in half) so I dug out my Sony headphones and I’m enjoying the over the ear experience. I love my AirPods but it’s nice to not have something shoved in my ear.

Trump illegally levied a $300 Billion tax on Americans this year. It’s regressive. We’re all paying for it. Congress didn’t enact it and Republicans in Congress and on the Supreme Court refuse to do anything to stop it.
The cost of Trump's tariffs continues to hit new highs in data released this morning—import taxes are running at a $350B/yr pace for the first time in history, nearly 5x what they were this time last year

"In the church, they say to forgive."

"Forgiveness is between them and God. It's my job to arrange the meeting."

Man on Fire. Denzel Washington throws out a Commando-sized number of badass one-liners. Tony Scott's masterpiece.

I also love Training Day, Philadelphia, Mo' Better Blues, and Fallen.
Name your fav Denzel Washington film.

It always gives me a chuckle when music outlasts a friendship. Harry Styles, Rufus Wainwright, Tori Amos, Dave Matthews Band all represent prominent friendships in my life. All failed and flamed out dramatically. The love of the musicians remain and for that I appreciate it.

I still remember seeing the quilt when it first came to STL. So many unknowns and too much hate back then, and our little church was silent when it was revealed a member had recently died and they had a square.

STL got too cocky with having an ok response to Saturday’s snow so of course today it is a complete shit show. Yikes. Hope everyone gets to where they need to ok or is able to stay put.

So, MoDOT decided not to pretreat the roads today. Apparently they were the only ones in the entire state of Missouri that didn’t know snow was coming. Incompetent doesn’t even begin to describe that department.
