The government is living in an alternate reality. During WW2, Michael Foot and others wrote Guilty Men about the disastrous failure of the British elite’s appeasement policy: their inability to grasp the world they were living in. He’d have a field day with this lot.

Water Privatisation is NOT a failure.

It is a spectacular success... for them.

Vast profits for a terrible service, for something you will always need.

And if they go bankrupt from vast debts they have stolen

You pay.

Renationalise without compensation and throw them in jail

Our economic system is broken, the rules of the game were written by rich people for rich people. Inequality is growing and it’s no good to rich and poor alike. We need new rules.

Germany shifts over 2 million e-bikes every year. France: over 500,000.

Britain? It will be lucky to get to 150,000. Why?

Because people need to feel safe to cycle, and that requires serious and sustained government support, which has not been forthcoming.

Emulating the bike-friendly highways enjoyed by our continental neighbours will take a lot more money and political will

There is a crisis facing our NHS. For far too many people, there is a real danger that an ambulance won’t come on time, or that they may spend hours waiting in A&E because our NHS has been pushed to breaking point.

Only an emergency package of support can shore up our NHS through the months ahead

Streeting is Secretary of State for Health and SOCIAL CARE

Streeting needs to go
The Government spends an average of £230,000 a year on every single child in care

Of that more than £60,000 is profit that never even goes near a child

The corporations get that, but if you foster a child you get only £10,000.

A sick system that has been twisted for profit
