American football is notoriously harmful to its players. I don’t think it’s reasonable to compare it to manual labour jobs when none of the latter think that high momentum collisions are an essential component of the job.

My telluride has adaptive cruise control and it’s amazing. It’s great in highways but it’s fucking magic in city driving where you’re mostly behind cars and constantly changing speed.
