I hope the general public now sees that corporate executives are even more useless than middle management and that we can just not listen to them or think they have any value to us as a society.

Harley Quinn is definitely the worst example you could've chosen to make this point with🤣
Gen Z wants more animation and less sex onscreen, according to a Teens & Screens survey, Variety reports.

Preference for animated content over live-action jumped from 42% from last year to 48.5% this year and nearly 48% of 19-24-year-olds also preferred animated content.

2016 PPG is a textbook proof that lineweight is incredibly important and you need to pay attention to what your lines look like when designing a character

The thicker the line, the more it stops being a line and becomes a shape. If you have thinner lines, you need more shapes to replace them
Honestly, PowerPuff Girls from the side is also equally cursed.

currently at record-high search interest for canceling disney plus. pulling kimmel is a bigger deal to the company's bottom line than any of the "woke" scandals of the past 5 years. i think news & entertainment corp execs need put more work into understanding their audience, & get off twitter

That Lil Nas video really should spark a conversation about Black men & their mental health. Also arresting someone during a mental health crisis is disgusting.

Lilo & Stitch works perfectly in animation. Achieving the lush stylization, the comedy, chaos, and heart in this story could really only be done in this medium.

Honest to god the best looney Tunes movie ever. No Basketball, no IRL actors inserted in the plot, just a beautiful 2D animated movie of the Looney Tunes doing what they do best. And the fact that it barely had promotion aside from a few posters and commercials really kills me.
‘The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie’ has now surpassed $8.7 MILLION at the worldwide box office.

The film has a $15 million budget.

Lilo & Stitch is one of Disney's best movies. It was meant to be a risk -- a "smaller, gutsier film."

Even its art direction was risky, down to its revival of watercolor backgrounds at Disney. We explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/the-shape-...

The Academy since: *Gives the award to less mainstream animated movies from more artsy directors with more sophisticated tones*

Hate to sound like a boomer, but streaming has done more harm than good.
Walt Disney Animation Studios has announced that the Tiana series has been officially shelved and will no longer be released alongside a made for Disney+ being scrapped as the studio moves away from streaming. I'm heartbroken for the crew to hear this. Such a shame.

Me 10 years ago: Captain Planet is sooo corny. CEOs are not THAT cartoonishly evil. Nobody commits atrocities for the lulz.

Me right now: y’know i think Ted Turner was onto something.
