I'm not sure the logic behind this. I mean, some children survived the Newtown shooting. It's the others that didn't that deserve our grief and attention

I would say the same thing in the moment. We are promised the day we currently live in, and not one day other. So if you love tomorrow, enjoy every 24 hours and pray you get another one. Make the best of it.

I am fully preparing myself to die under this new American regime. That’s not to say that it’s the end of the world. It isn’t. But I am almost 50 years old. It will take so long to do anything with this mess that this is the new normal for *me*.

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.
