The only important division in the pro-democracy faction is, imo, the useful vs. the useless.
Looking around the Western world, there are definitely a lot of useful conservatives and socialists who are holding the line against reactionary authoritarianism and some really useless liberals.
Looking around the Western world, there are definitely a lot of useful conservatives and socialists who are holding the line against reactionary authoritarianism and some really useless liberals.
The fight against authoritarianism isn't limited to a specific ideology, and in fact, requires partisans of every pro-democracy faction (from democratic socialists to traditional conservatives) to unite in a popular front.
But, those in authority are often the last to understand the need to fight.
