So a big part of the Project 2025 goals hinges on forcing women out of the workforce. The Heritage Foundation knows that women voters hold the most power in terms of sheer numbers. If they can push you out of the workforce, they can push you out of your voting rights.

Working in the medical field is all about being able to put up with bullshit. Nothing but raw deals, long hours, backbreaking and heartbreaking work, and low pay. It has been steadily getting worse since COVID, and most of the people I worked with said it really started before that.

They don’t care. They’re planning on shoving those of us with psych diagnoses or physical disabilities onto “farms” so we can work in the sunshine and “get healthy” again. They are planning on destroying the medical system to get rid of the really sick people and essentially enslave the rest.

Really, really agree with this piece from Huffpo. We don't have to accept the aura of AI inevitability. We can, and should, refuse to engage with it in our classrooms (and elsewhere, but especially in the classroom!)
There is something intensely bleak about students using gAI in an assignment asking them to respond to a text about enslaved people--so sad.
Students are being misled into stripping themselves of the ability to read, write, think by our own universities and Big Tech
