The Trump Admin wants to undo mercury protections—and their big plan? Let polluters off the hook with an email. These plants are mostly near Black, brown & low-income communities. We know who pays the price. Our health is NOT up for negotiation.

E.P.A. Offers a Way to Avoid Clean-Air Rules: Send an Email
Referring to a little-known provision, it said power plants and others could write to seek exemptions to mercury and other restrictions and that “the president will make a decision.”

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

This is really important. Without fair elections, the midterms mean nothing.
The Democrats are focusing on the mid-terms thinking this is where they can gain back power. But Trump is 2 steps ahead of them trying to ensure that real elections don't happen in 2026. The battle isn't about winning districts in 2026, but in ensuring a fair vote.

We're on that precipice. This is Schrödinger's coup.

He is both succeeding & failing. Every guardrail is being tested.

The fact is, a few batshit crazy bros cannot, themselves, break democracy.

They need complicity. So this is OUR time to disrupt, derail, & disturb the necessary complicity.
I hope you’re right, but it feels like he is doing whatever he wants regardless of law or orders or precedent or people’s livelihoods and any guardrails are being removed or just ignored. It doesn’t seem like we have a functioning system or the leadership in a position to stop him. At least not yet.

Trump wants to fire 83k VA workers, many of whom are veterans themselves, decimating the VA & making it harder for veterans to get health care & benefits.

When Americans put their lives on the line to defend our country, we must keep our commitments to them — not betray them.

This Friday, where will you be?

DOGE is slashing VA staff, cutting suicide prevention programs, delaying Veterans’ healthcare, and firing those who served (Fun Fact: 30% of Federal Employees are vets!).

They call it "efficiency." I'd call it betrayal.

The House Republican bill could cut as much as $880 billion from Medicaid alone.

That puts 80 MILLION Americans—kids, veterans, people with disabilities, rural Americans, the elderly—at risk.

Democrats are standing up for the American people.

Never in our history has the US voted w/ Dictatorships at the expense of our Democratic allies—that is until today.  Trump has not only just ruined US credibility as a global leader, but set back the global fight for democratic values and peace.

Hegseth says firing of top military lawyers was about making sure "they don't exist to be roadblocks to anything that happens."

Utah Republican Senator John Curtis claps back at Elon and DOGE:

"If I could say one thing to Elon Musk it's please put a dose of compassion in this. These are real lives. These are mortgages. It's a false narrative to say we have to cut and be cruel to do it."

MORE republicans should stand up!

DOGE’s accounting of its “savings” is riddled with sloppy mistakes. The five largest cuts that it listed on its website earlier this week were all incorrect — making the savings look far larger than they were in reality.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

#DayOfRemembrance is a reminder that we can't be complacent. The Trump Admin is creating a culture of fear & hysteria. That is why the Japanese American story must be told & retold.

Airlines should be shouting bloody murder. The Republican administration is making flying more dangerous and that's bad for business no matter which way you slice it. Needless to say it's also negligent.
Less than a month since a crash that took 67 lives, Trump is firing hundreds of federal employees who inspect and maintain air traffic control communications, radio and computer systems.

This is extremely dangerous and could have deadly consequences.
