Since my last name is Sanders, a few people I consider adoptive family came up with "the Sandinator" as a nickname for me. I combined that with the fact that my favorite band of all time is Rush; 2112 is the title of a Rush album, hence its inclusion in my username. 😁

When I started my gaming blog in 2018, I brainstormed a bunch of names and settled on "The Brink of Gaming"- a play on words that also used part of my real name. Shortened it to "brinkofgaming" on socials and the rest is history 😜
