As a Sandra, Southerner and public school advocate so glad to see this illuminated. I pitched every media contact I work with to focus on the 92% of Black women who told us. All White Men gatekeepers. Crickets.

2025 will end without a ruling in NC’s long-running Leandro school funding case
It’s been almost two years since the North Carolina Supreme Court heard oral arguments in an appeal filed by GOP legislative leaders.

Thanks to @everychildnc.bsky.social for your ethical and disciplined focus on children's rights. No matter the political winds or chaos.

In this segment, Senator Schmitt insists he knows nothing about a major scandal, goes on an extended rant filled with lies and smears, insults Stephanopolous and his show directly, and is generally a preening asshole.

Yet I’m sure they’ll welcome him back for more.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Do you support the pardon of the former Honduran president?

SCHMITT: I'm not familiar w/ the facts or circumstances

S: What do you mean you're not familiar? It's been front page news

SCHMITT: You spew Democrat talking points every single week, which is why your ratings are so bad

Perhaps Donald Trump should sign an executive order declaring June 14 (his birthday) to be National Racial Animus Day.
Donald Trump just removed Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth from the list of free entry days at national parks.

They are being replaced with Trump’s birthday.

I guess they were probably too busy being the social safety net these folks have decimated.I am sure they will be grateful for this BS Trump trickle.

Or your flight to your friends wedding...
Private planes make up nearly 12% of all flights.

And yet even with major air traffic control safety concerns, the DOT is planning to exclude them from its plan to order 10% cut in flights at 40 major U.S. airports.

People who can afford to charter flights will be fine. Everyone else is screwed.

This Conway's mind is also boggled. The constant moral distress and injury is going to reshape us in ways I can't fathom.
It still boggles my mind that so many people couldn't grasp last year how significantly more morally depraved a second Trump term would be in comparison to the first. And how so many people still can't comprehend that our national crisis isn't about politics, but simple morality.

We're not any more altruistic than the next person. We want less inequality because we know our families will be better off in a society with less inequality.

We're greedy for a different kind of country—one where all people have the ability to thrive, succeed, and have their voices heard.
