So many folks are sick again so I share this with love: you must rest. Rest won’t guarantee you don’t get long covid but it’s a huge mitigator. Even if you have an accute mild case. Even if you don’t feel it at all. Send this to your boss. Make your partner clean or use disposable dishes etc.
Why You Should Rest—a Lot—If You Have COVID-19
It could help prevent Long COVID

why not both
Dracula turns into a bat to avoid detection or for selfish personal travel purposes, whereas I would turn into a bat to pollinate local plants and help balance our precious ecosystem. Just one of several ways that I am morally superior to Dracula.

We're in a surge so here's your reminder that while it's best to be infected 0 times, if you've been infected before, just do your best to avoid being infected again. You should always be trying to avoid your next infection. The damage adds up. Your body will thank you later.

COVID has been eye-opening for me about how we just consent to giving one another all sorts of illnesses we can prevent simply by wearing a mask while sick! I can't imagine having a cough and going out anymore, or at a minimum wearing a mask. It is selfish when we can protect one another instead.

Your reminder that self care, *genuine* self care not capitalist ideals of self care, is a radical act of resistance.

Allowing yourself time to rest, recover, and take care of yourself is the exact opposite of what this hellscape wants. It wants you exhausted and too weary to ~

This seems to be the latest trend, dammit. Maybe we should all just stay in bed eating chocolate and reading trashy novels until it passes?
OKAY! That answers that question. Strange I was negative when I was symptomatic and now that I’m feeling better I get a bright red line. If you were hoping to see me tomorrow I apologize!
