When I saw this incredible footage I said to my hubby 'I hope that guy is a Muslim' - and what do you know - he is!! Incredible bravery in the ghastly Sydney shootings ❤️❤️
Ahmed al Ahmed, a Lebanese Muslim who owns a Sydney fruit shop, risked his life to disarm one of the Bondi Beach shooters.
His courage gives me hope amidst the horror and darkness. Muslims and Jews are not enemies. Our futures, in the Middle East and beyond, are intrinsically bound.
A true hero.

Arranging a Scottish song today 🎵, I learnt that the Scots word Gowk means cuckoo, and Mavis means songthrush. 😍 Mavis has another meaning, of being lazy - a 'cindermavis' is someone who loafs about infront of the fire! Just off to be one of those right now...🤭
