From my perspective as a millennial, why does accountability in Gen Z–dominated spaces so often get reframed as harm? Why does discomfort become an “attack”? Is this generational, or a result of growing up under constant visibility?

if someone creates a community does that create responsibility/obligation to that community? I believe that empathy & accountability can coexist & it's possible to acknowledge someone going through a rough time while still holding them accountable when they abandoned their community. Thoughts?
