Important PSA about pet microchips:

1. After your pet is microchipped, you need to register the microchip. It is useless otherwise.

2. If you registered with Save This Life, they shut down and gave no notice. You need to register the chip with another database.

One story with Jennie the witch. The local doctor delivered a baby, but he quickly pronounced the baby had something wrong with it. It was going to die. The doctor left the family to wait for their baby's death.

The family decided to send for Jennie rather than just do that. Jennie came and

Really the one Jennie the witch remedy we know is skunk fat. Ella used it on Grandma after getting bad pneumonia following falling through ice. Ella did actually bring the doctor in for it initially. He just said there was nothing he could do and left.

When I was a kid in the 90's the decision to move so Dad could manage the family store, and oversee the maintenance and remodeling of Sheri's rental properties was super distressing to my mother. She did not want to ever move back to that part of the state. She started having me focus with intent

I should have used the Bourbon fudge recipe I did last year. This stuff is not wanting to firm up for me even after being in the freezer. Oh well.

There is a bar in Monroe that specializes in Limburger sandwiches. I have thought it might be fun to go. Thus far in life I have only eaten Limburger twice, and I am at a draw for the flavor. Fourth grade me liked it when I ended up having it as part of these cheese reports we had to do. Teenage

Progress on bourbon fudge. There was a guy from Kentucky in my graduate program. I remember one time we were talking about having a party with foods from respective states. He was talking Bourbon fudge made these monks close to where he was from.
He put in a request that I bring back the

I've got the day off from work today. I've worked some OT the last two Saturdays. I was thinking yesterday I would do some holiday baking today.

I lurked just a little bit on my hot dog cousin's FB tonight. Evidently he does not like Trump. I was super shocked, and super happy. I guess cause Sheri had posted photos with Jeff's girls during his first term. He had one post about getting blocked by a Trump supporter.

My belt also broke this morning at work. So I am continually having to pull them up.

I guess there was a mouse fiasco with my cat this morning. He caught one, but he was more in the mood to play with it. So he kept letting it go. It got away. Mom views my cat as seriously unserious.

I've thought some on how Grandma (Mom's side) could fall for Trump. She died the year before Covid during his first term. Identity politics, and she was doing pretty good, but she had had two strokes. There was some cognitive issues I think from that. When I visited her the one time as a more

Advice Grandma (Mom's side) gave me when I was graduating High school. Focus on school, focus on work, try not to worry about boyfriends or anything like that. She was a machinist for a lot of years. She related how one time a bid came up for a nuclear car test project by Chrystler. She wanted

I wonder what would happen if the news stopped saying "shooter" and "gunman" and used "pussy with gun" instead. Maybe that would be too offensive maybe"wuss with a gun" would be better. Would that result in less shootings?

I've been thinking some on the differences in MAGA in my own family. Both sides are MAGA. I feel likemy Mom's side version of MAGA vs. My Dad's side are actually different things. My Mom's side I think has a lot of mental illness going on. I remember Dad talking about that to me when I was a kid

MAGA gun doctor Keith was not around much at all when his boys were little. Sheri was living with Grandma (Grandma was actually doing most of the boys' care-night feedings, diapers, etc)

I guess one time Keith was around and decided to take the hot dog cousin for a walk. At some point in the walk

I don't know if this helps discredit carnivore doctor. I have never been in Keith's house. Dad has been dispatched up north to fix his roof. He said he always has a half rotten bag of potatoes on the floor. Presumably he eats some of them.

I guess I come off as a nut job on the veggie side. I had some OT today for work. After work decided BLTs sounded okay. Got the bacon fried, then realized we have no mayo. Mom suggested using peppercorn ranch dressing on the bread instead. It works.

I had a picky eater streak as a kid. My Mom had a "pick out and don't eat the parts you don't like" Her policy is if she is cooking she will make it as she sees fit to make it, and will not take requests. I am grateful to her as an adult for this. Part of why I am curious about my cousin as an
