are folks unaware of how difficult it is for indie authors to get indie bookshops to even touch their books? indie bookshops sell mostly trad books. so telling an indie author to ‘sell in an indie bookshop’ is kinda frustrating when they often decline to stock anything not trad or successful.

It's easy to let that seep into your bones and paralyze your writing, but I'm trying not
