Update: my wife had her USCIS interview a 2 weeks ago. The interview request was sent to me. Unusual, according to my lawyer.
I was hardly asked anything, and my wife was asked very basic questions.
Today I went to the lawyer’s office and picked up her green card.

I have no idea what to expect.

Last night, a regular customer told me about a friend of hers. Her friend’s cat got attacked by her other pet, a pit bull. The poor cat was so injured they rushed her to an emergency vet, but she had to be put down. She just had kittens too./1

I finally made a call that could improve my circumstances a bit. I was pleased to hear that they could do even better! I was a bit cynical, but I’ll take what I can get!

My wife and I were supposed to start a new job today. Delayed now because ICE raided the place.
Last word is they released everyone without charges, but the boss’s lawyer was alarmed by the attitude of the ICE agents; re: they sexually harassed the women they questioned.
